We spend most of our lives building a facade. In the professional world, we value composure, logic, and structure. We build systems to keep the chaos at bay. But what happens when the systems fail? What does the "self" look like when the perfectionist mask slips?

"Surrealist self" is a collection dedicated to that unmasking.

This body of work represents the "Primal Execution" of my practice. While my background in management taught me to impose order on the world, these paintings are where I allow that order to collapse. Drawing on the traditions of Surrealism, I explore the complex, often messy reality of the human subconscious—the anxiety, the passion, and the burning drive that exists beneath a polished exterior. Visually, this gallery is defined by high-contrast colors, visceral reds, and the recurring motif of the dissolving and dissolution of self. These are not portraits of people as they look, but as they feel under pressure or when abandoned within society.

This collection houses the award-winning work "Existentialism Realized", which received Special Recognition from the Light Space & Time International Online Art Gallery in November 2025. I invite you to explore this gallery not as a critique of the world around us, but as a mirror to the world within us. It is a visual validation that while logic runs the boardroom, emotion still rules the human.
